Great to see Brian at training last night, first time since Melbourne.I was going to finish the blog today but one of my friends think it shouldn't end till we move into our house. Had an e mail from Mel, he did well at Wyalla last weekend, Peppa just 2 passes off MJ, well done Mel. Maureen and Mel left for home Monday gone, he hopes to be back for training Thursday night. That's all for now, the final chapter will be about the 12th of December. Hugs Andrea

Came across the dog cemetery just out of Hyden, took a few pictures of some of the grave sites of some of the much loved mates.
And yes he want's one!!!!!
Keith and George inside Hippo's Yawn, just a short walk from THE ROCK
We spent 2 day's at Hyden exploring Wave Rock, just look at the beautiful colours.
Just look at this natural bush at Quagi looks like someones garden, very impressive.
The Pickerings mouse house all set up in the bush at Quagi, beautiful spot.

On our way to Norseman
Yep, bones of dead animals at our camp site, just a little different from Streaky Bay. It was 25 degrees at 6 am, and the flies were everywhere. Couldn't wait to move on, we then drove for 9 hours the temps. got up to 45 degrees and guess what our air con decided to have a rest!!!!
We were warned at Cocklebiddy Road house when filling up with deisel to be wary about 1080 baits in the area, so on with the muzzels, not worth the risk.

A few words to go with the last pictures on the blog.
The bus pictures are what they call O BARN a bus that runs along on tracks. It was a bit like being on a train, a real hoot, it only took 7 mins to get from Windsor to the town Centre.
The picture of the Rhodens Keith and I having our last supper so to speak was our last day together. We have gone our separate way's, Keith and I on our way home Mel has two more trials next weekend.

Just a few words to go with the previous photos.
October the 14th we all for a drive to Gumeracha to visit the wooden toy factory and the largest wooden horse in the world.
Keith being the Birthday boy is posing right up on top of the big horse, some 3 stories high.
We then went on to Birdwood where Mel and Keith explored the car museum to great length.
Maureen and I walked the dogs then Maureen treated me to a huge delicious iced coffee.
It was a lovely day out, and as I said before it is Adelaide at it's best.
Sorry it is almost over.
Hugs

Spice and Peppa did well at Para Districts Trial
One of many old buildings in Hahndorf, beautiful little spot.
Can you spot Sylus down by the moo cow?
One of the original old shops in Hahndorf, pricless!!!!!
Here we are minus the other two Cow Pats 'Brian and Julie.' We just had to spend time at the chocolate factory. Bought Jannet Patching a present here.
Keith falls in love with the pooch at the chocy factory. No he can't come home.
Isn't this the most gorgeous picture, Peppa having a lovely pooch sleep.
Hi everyone,
Last week the weather took on an overnight change to Summer here in Adelaide. It is lovely although it was a trifle hot trialing yesterday.
Para Districts did an excellent job running their trial, everyone VERY friendly and helpful, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. (great team of people)
Being Sunday Keith is glued to the tele watching Bathurst and I am catching up on chores. Walked the girls's earlier, said good bye to Tracey and Adrian Stafford from Perth now thinking of going for a ride around THE LOOP on our bike.
It was great spending a couple of day's with the Staffords.
The Rhodens are coming over for roast chicken tonight and mixed berries smothered in creamy vanilla ice cream yum!!!!
Hugs
Andrea and Keith

Back to Reality - Cowlings 13th October
Hi everyone,
Well all good things must come to an end. We arrived back in Perth two weeks ago just in time to watch the mighty Cats (Geelong) miss out on the big trophy. We are still very proud of them and we know they did their best. We still love them.
Any way. Things are very hectic since we got back to the land of the west. I virtually went straight back to work and havent had time to scratch myself since. Brian has been busy mowing and weeding (I think he missed that part). He went back to work on Wednesday so its all back to reality. It's like we never went away.
The trip was one of the best things we have ever done and we both look back with fond memories. So many fabulous places and interesting characters. Just too many to mention. We had such a wonderful time sharing them with our dear travel companions Keith and Andrea. We certainly miss those fantastic times (not to mention the 5 o'clock drinkies). Also later down the track sharing the fun again with Mal and Maureen. Yes Maureen's roasts are absolutely the best!
Running out of time now. I still have some photos to post it will have to wait till next week. Standby......
Bye for now
Julie and Brian.
Hi Everyone,
We arrived back in the land of the West a fortnight ago just in time to see our beloved Cats (Geelong) miss out on getting the back to back grand final trophy. It was a sad day but they tried their hardest. We still love them heaps and are very proud of their achievement overall.
Well things have been pretty hectic since we have been back. I virtually went straight back to work and Brian has been busy mowing and weeding etc (I think he missed his ride on). It's nice to be home if only to see family and friends but we much prefer to be back out there exploring and experiencing our wonderful country. So much to see and do. We had plenty of goods times and laughs with our special traveling companions Keith and Andrea. Especially our late afternoon drinks and chats. Also later on with Mal and Maureen.
