Last day at port Fairy and arrive in Mount Gambier

A photo of the original caves house built by James Umpherston, sadly demolished in the early 1900s.
Look at the back drop, just amazing, can't really show it off.

Keith sitting down among the peaceful sunken gardens. We even came upon Possums which we were able to feed raw apple out of our hands.

Mount Gambier, just look at this !!! We visited these magical sunken gardens originally beautified in 1886 by James Umpherston and today is one of Mount Gambiers most popular tourist attractions.

Another view of the Port Fairy caravan park.

Port Fairy a beautiful caravan park, dog's are welcomed with open arms, heaps of space.

The county side inland from Apollo Bay, lovely farms, lot's of dairy farming.
Otway Fly Tree Top Walk, this was amazing the view from the 25 metre tree top walk was well worth the scary walk.

Looking back down at Apollo Bay.

Once settled in at the caravan park here at Apollo Bay, we have gone for a drive up in the hills. The paddocks are awash wth canola oil flowers, very pretty.

We left Lilydale on the 20th, headed for Apolo Bay. Here we are on our last walk along Pine Road

I know we have slowed down with the blog, but Julie is in SA so not here to help and I have been slack.

Keith and I are staying at very dear friends of our's Yvonne and David Thompson in Mooroolbark about 40 ks from Melbourne. It is a beautiful property with lovely English trees and sloping lawns.

As you walk up the road it is very like an English laneway.

Smudge Spice and I go for long walks each morning up and down the sloping lane ways.

We are of course doing touristy stuff, David is the best tour guide you could ever wish for.

I had the weekend off from trialing, Brian and Mel did well at the SA trial on Sunday, Mel winning two 1sts EJ and NA, Brian and Evie 2nd in NA.

Enclosed a few photos taken the past few days.

Hugs, Andrea
