Darwin 14th June - Julie

Today we are taking it easy in Darwin. Us southerners are finding the humidity and heat a little tiring. But at the same time we love it when we want to swim in the beautiful pool we have at our caravan park. The first trial was last night. Smudge and Oscar were the only dogs in Masters and they both managed to stuff it up! Giggle. Spice and Smudge did get some clears though and lots of ribbons. Evie had a lot of fun sniffing all the nice horsey smells and Oscar did very well with only a small fault. Hopefully tonight will be another story.
Andrea will be able to report in more depth for the doggie blog viewers.

The other night we went to a beautiful beach near town to let the dogs have a run (not in the water of course). The tide was out and the beach was huge and of course another spectacular sunset appeared. Believe it or not there were a few people wading in the water. (Some cute surfers too skimming along the shoreline).

Ketih and Andrea went on a bus tour of Darwin town and took this lovely pic over looking the harbour.

It sounds like you're having a lovely relaxing time!! Have you seen any crocs in the ocean up there in Darwin? So it sounds like the trials must be pretty small up there - poor judge having to make a Masters course for 2 blow-ins!!! There's been some VERY wet trials here (but I was working so was spared the pain). Billy has been herding down at Darkan and then again at Simon's and is showing some real talent - even Simon was impressed so I think I may pursue that further.
I'm enjoying reading your blog and seeing pictures, so happy travels and keep on blogging. Woof to all the dogs!!
