Wangaratta VIC 8th Aug - Julie

This was at a little town called Holbrook just before Wangaratta. We must find out why there is a Submarine in the middle of Country Victoria. Anybody know?

Hello from the Cowlings. Gosh its really cold now. We are now in Victoria so Brian can watch as much AFL as he likes. Of course that is what he is doing now Geelong and Melbourne not much of a match though. But at least he is getting his real footy fix now and we can leave that other code behind us. As much as we loved the Nation's Capital it was time to move on. We both agree it would be great to come back again as there is so much to see and do. Next time in Autumn maybe as it is such a beautiful looking city just a bit chilly though. This was at a little town called Holbrook just before Wangaratta. We must find out why there is a Submarine in the middle of Country Victoria. Anybody know?

After Sydney we spent five days in the Canberra region. It was really good to catch up with Brian's brother and sister in law Ann. We stopped in a Old Parliment house for dress ups.

Oscar loved the jumps that Mal built.

While we were in Dapto a week earlier we met a really nice chap Mal Williams. He offered to baby sit our hounds so we could spend a day in Sydney Harbour. Not only did he look after our dogs he also excersised them and allowed them to enjoy his beautiful property in the foothills of the Blue Mountains. He also fed and excersised us the evening before. He is such a talented cook. His curry is to die for. Thanks Mal for your kindess and hospitality we look forward to returning the favour one day. Give Kitty and Scary a big hug for us.

Boat show at Darling Harbour.

Which one do you like?

Can you spot the Patchings and Sylus in thise action shot?

Cute (the one in the tree)

These guys are hilarious.

Brian and I went off to Taronga Zoo. What a fantastic view for the residents. Location, location!

After freezing our butts off at Katomba we took a ferry ride into Sydney town a few days later. She put on a beautiful sunny day for us.

Nice and cosy but put these dogs away I want to sleep now.

Brrr, we just happened to visit the Three Sisters on the coldest day in the week. It was snowing only 12 kn away.
